Let's get real, this whole raising tiny humans thing is wild. That is why I created a place where parents, caregivers, teachers, and experts come together to create the modern parenting village. We can support one another on this crazy journey so it doesn't have to be this hard.

180 - Fostering emotional development in infants and toddlers

Welcome back to Voices of Your Village! We get so many questions about how to do this work with our youngest kiddos. Is it possible to teach infants and toddlers about emotions and how to express them? When I was creating the CEP method, I was working with kids birth-5, primarily with 1 - 2 year olds. This is possible to start day one. Join us today for tips on how to get started however old your kiddo is!

178 - Letting go of control

Hello everyone and welcome back to the podcast, this week we are rebroadcasting episode 113: Letting go of control. I originally recorded this episode pre-covid but it rings even more true now. This past 15 months has been a whirlwind and if it has taught us anything it's that we actually have control over very little. And the fear and anxiety that can bring up in people is real. Let's dive into it on today's episode.

I love this podcast. With small children, it’s hard to know how to educate yourself given the overwhelming amount of literature and parenting styles out there. This podcast has helped me realize what topics are important to me as a parent and how to learn more about them. Alyssa is knowledgeable and I find her very soothing to listen to.
