Is it Imposter Syndrome or Fear?

Is it Imposter Syndrome or Fear?

Why are so many women downplaying their brilliance, their skills and procrastinating on their big dreams?

Imposter syndrome is a word that gets thrown around a lot in the personal development world and while there are times when I'm speaking to to someone who is truly doubting and disconnecting from their capabilities, often what I see is a women who knowns deep down that she's really great at what she does- but is hiding anyway.

So in today's episode we're unpacking fear of claiming our talents, gifts and desires so we can be more of who we really are and feel more free to go after the things we really want.

the difference between imposter syndrome and just plain old fearhow to train your brain to feel more confident & capablewhy you need to celebrate your successeshow to get more free to be yourself and go after your dreamsHave a topic or question you'd love to hear about?

The Fear of Judgement + Comparison + One Truth that Changes Everything

The Fear of Judgement + Comparison + One Truth that Changes Everything

Ever avoid doing something you really want to do because you're worried you're going to be judged or feel like you're not good enough?

Like maybe you want to start going to the gym but you're afraid people will look at you like you don't belong there...

Or maybe there's a dream you've always wanted to go after but you're embarrassed to tell your friends...

Or maybe you've been showing up and making things happen but still find yourself feeling like you don't measure up to everyone else at the table...

Comparison and judgment are really normal human thought patterns, but when we let our insecurities and worries run wild, we can end up living a life that feels safe to our nervous system, but really frustrating and unfulfilling for our hearts.

    In today's episode I'm sharing:

the one realization you need to hear to start taking actionwhat showing up at the gym with my muffin top showed me about competitionhow you can move from comparison and competition mean girl energy to big alpha female energy- kind, ambitious, caring, and powerful

self doubt + trusting your instincts + raising your standards

self doubt + trusting your instincts + raising your standards

Ever catch yourself doubting your instincts or second guessing your decisions?
Ever feel like you've outgrown a relationship or situation but you stick around anyway?
Ever feel like you know in your gut that something's not good for you but you keep toughening it out anyway?

In today's episode I'm breaking down what the real issue is that makes it hard to trust yourself and that stops you from taking action, even when you know that something isn't the right match for you.

Many of us have been conditioned to "make do" and "make it work", causing us to stay in situations and relationships that are no longer good for us or are not what we hoped they would be.  And  while there may be very real times in our lives when we really do need to just toughen it out, push through or stay put for the time being for a variety of reasons, many of us have adopted the idea of settling as a way of life.

So press play and get a deeper understanding of why you stay in the places that aren't right for you and consider this invitation to raise your standards and allow more joy and goodness into your life.
