#78 ~ Being a Business Innovator with Jennifer Carmel Comeau

#78 ~ Being a Business Innovator with Jennifer Carmel Comeau

Welcome to Episode 78 where we are talking with Jennifer Carmel Comeau a licensed board-certified behavior analyst that has a background in education.
Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in the field of individuals with special needs in various capacities. She's a coach, a teacher, and an early intervention respite consultant to families and to preschools. The best experience that Jennifer has had has been with her sister Nancy. Nancy has brain damage and has been grooming Jennifer to be a BCBA since they were kids.
Having this experience has helped Jennifer to understand family pressures and frustrations and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to interview Jennifer and share some of her incredible story.
The tools her techniques that she uses to help families are not only innovative, but they also work!!!
Connect with Jennifer on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jcarmelcomeau where she shares fun videos with Nancy, amazing tools and tips and information on upcoming free masterclasses.
I love how Jennifer is listening to her intuition, and branching (after 25 years in the field) out on her own to create a business serving those special needs children by educating their parents using innovative, effective tools.
Jennifer shares her perseverance as a business owner and her longing to help as many as possible.
I learn and gain so much inspiration from Jennifer and I think you will too.

#77 ~ ~ Simply Said: Conversations on Business, Life and Living

#77 ~ ~ Simply Said: Conversations on Business, Life and Living

Well, hello, followers and new followers. I believe in taking intuitive actions when having an intuitive thought.
And lately, I've been having an intuitive thought about bringing back the Alaska Tracy podcast. I created the podcast and had it going for five years. And then I hit pause on it.
Intuitively, topics have been coming to mind over and over and over, as I'm out walking, as I'm growing my business as I'm working with clients. And so I thought because I don't do anything perfectly in business, not sure why I thought a podcast would be any different.
So, here you go - perfectly unscripted or unedited, and no intro!
The goal is to give you tips and tools, and inspiration in business and life that you can use, imperfectly. And so I'm Tracy Roesch, Williams, Executive, business coach, and consultant. And I'm coming to you today to bring you tools and tips that you can use. And maybe some of these tips and tools and inspiration will help you to skip some of the mistakes that I've made, and that clients have made, and help you to propel forward quicker.
My imperfect tip for today is about building relationships. Years and years ago, 23 years ago, when I created with the help of many people helping me my very first business, that business grew and succeeded based on relationships. Relationships that were nurtured over time.
See people work with people that they trust. And people refer people to people that they trust. And trust takes time.
I know we all see people online on social media growing followings and growing six-figure businesses overnight. And I'm here to tell you, that has not been my experience or the experience of the people that I get to work with.
The ones that grow successful businesses, including me, take time and commitment. And that builds trust.
The last several clients that I've had the opportunity to work with, have come to me over the years of watching what I've been doing on social media, and in the community.
Now, every once in a while I do get a random client that finds me on social media, and we have a conversation and they end up working with me. Forsure that happens. Most of the time, the people that connect with me and the people that I work with get to know and trust me first.
How are you creating trust in your life today to attract people that want to work with you?  I would love to know how you're doing it. Or if you need help building real relationships that lead to clients.
I had a potential client conversation recently thinking that social media was where their business would grow. And he said to me, "I hate social media." And I looked him in the eyes and I said, Whoever told you that you had to use social media to grow your business? And then we brainstormed opportunities in his community for how he could get to know people to create relationships to create trust.
How are you creating trust today in your life, that is my tip for the day on the Alaska Tracy Podcast.

#76 - The Life Edit with Tabatha Perry

#76 - The Life Edit with Tabatha Perry

What a joy to hear Tabatha Perry's inspirational story. Tabatha is an MSW (a fancy acronym for Master’s of Social Work), and she believes you’re capable of achieving anything you want.
Tabatha shares the story of her very own life edit, and how she went from working in law to empowering others.
Tabatha believes that you are busy, brilliant, and bombarded by a million little choices every day and her goal as a Life Coach is to help women strategize, organize, and optimize their life so that they may step to their fullest glory.
I love that Tabatha was born and raised in Alaska, has lived in 4 different states, and has moved 22+ times! She was either working, going to school, pregnant or being a stay-at-home mom. She loves structure and order and is aware that God has gifted her many life opportunities to grow her flexibility and patience.
What a journey Tabatha has had through her years of empowering others to show up as their truest self. She has helped dreamers from all walks of life: successful business owners, teen moms, those experiencing homelessness, prisoners, as well as her neighbors down the street.  Tabatha loves being kept on her toes and she continues to appreciate people for who they are and the unique experiences they each have. Tabatha believes everyone has a story and value. Everyone. And wants THEM to see that, too.
Tabatha feels the same as you and me! She has thrived and also gotten caught up in life and just lived on autopilot. She has set goals, achieved many, and didn’t get close to many more. Tabatha has worked hard for what she believes in and sometimes didn’t see the results she expected. She's made sacrifices she never thought possible to make her wildest visions come true. And those accomplishments came from faith and realizing every great goal starts at a gateway; every purpose needs a path; and every overachiever must strategize, organize, and optimize!
Please enjoy this fun and inspiring episode and connect with Tabatha at tabathaperry.coach  or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/tabathaperry.coach

#75 ~ The Art of Persuasion by Means of the Written Word with Betty Withrow

What a fun interview with Betty Withrow. May you find her as inspirational as I do.
I met Betty through a speed networking platform and she was terrific about keeping in touch with me when I explained wanting her help to get a 10-year book project finished.
Betty's patience, kindness, and persistence in asking me questions helped me to get Eddie's Journey completed. Betty was a fantastic book coach for me, holding my hand and encouraging me to take small steps and get to the finish line!
Betty Withrow is a creative professional who has spent her life working in the visual arts and the written word.
An entrepreneur since the age of 16, she has worked in ranching, and food service, as a fashion original, and as a writer.  For 47 years, she was been a resident of Big Sur, California, doing whatever was needed to make the day work. While raising a ranch in the remote backcountry, she created local businesses and worked with retailers in many different areas, learning the language of sales from first-hand experience.
She is well-known for her top-quality fashion and home décor line, made by hand in her studio, no two pieces alike.  Her devotion to quality and her expert and meticulous artisanal craftsmanship make her items sought-after in the marketplace and considered collectibles.
Betty Withrow is a book coach, and an editor as well as a copywriter for professionals and business owners. She is a specialist in language and the art of persuasion by means of the written word.
She is passionate about providing support to her clients to get their message and voice out in the world. When editing, she makes sure to keep the tone of the author and when creating copy, she focuses on the use of the language to meet the needs of the market her clients want to serve.
