    #13- YOUR CAREER ISN'T A STRAIGHT LINE

    #13- YOUR CAREER ISN'T A STRAIGHT LINE

It’s okay if you don’t know what you want to do once you leave school or graduate.

Career paths are rarely straightforward and it’s not always as simple as get this degree then get this role and work your way up to the top. So, don’t worry if you haven’t got it all figured out yet.

Today’s guest Heidi is an amazing example of this. Heidi has worked in various HR roles, she has worked in Parliament and also for a marketing consultancy. Heidi is currently a COO of a Healthcare Business Intelligence firm.

We will discuss what Heidi’s roles have involved and give you tips for making a career that you’re not only proud of but a career that you’re happy with. Enjoy the episode people!

#14- A REAL ESTATE DEGREE EXPLAINED

#14- A REAL ESTATE DEGREE EXPLAINED

So, a degree in Real Estate sounds quite fancy right- but what does it actually involve? You cant do real estate at GCSE or A-Level so its quite unknown to many of us.

Today’s guest Charlotte completed her Real Estate degree at the University of Reading and will be starting a graduate job with Cushman and Wakefield in September where she will hopefully go on to become a chartered surveyor.

Myself and charlotte will break down the degree, what you can expect, explain real estate modules and discuss roles you can go into when you graduate.

Also worth mentioning that Charlotte had various internships with top real estate firms so we can discuss what a role within real estate actually involves and how you can land some experience within the industry- which is so important for landing a graduate position.
