"I went to visit my parents last week, but returned on Saturday in time for a friend's Memorial Day bbq. When I arrived at the barbecue yesterday, I was getting strange looks from everyone. I found out that a friend and my boyfriend went out on Friday night. They didn't tell me. Everyone else knew and that's why they were staring. I confronted my boyfriend. He said nothing happened. He said he didn't tell me that he was going out with my friend because he knew I would be mad. He said he asked her for plans because no one else wanted to go out. I told him I need some space and time to think about whether or not I want to continue our relationship. What would you do if you were me? Did my boyfriend cheat? Should I end my friendship and relationship or am I worrying about nothing? Should I be mad at my friend because I am. I am so confused."

Poolboy told his kid if he won the spelling bee he’d give him 50 bucks. He won (congrats Henry!) and now Poolboy is regretting his plan. When did a plan with your kids backfire??

"​My family is flying out later today for a Memorial Day weekend vacation. My neighbor works for an airline and thinks my husband and I are the worst because we booked first class seats for ourselves, but not our children. The kids are 6, 7, 9 and 11. We put them in coach. My neighbor says that's wrong because no one is going to watch them. My husband and I deserve a vacation too. The flight attendants will keep an eye on them. My neighbor says we're bad parents because we did that. I disagree. Nothing's going to happen to them and they wouldn't appreciate the first class treatment we are going to get in first class. "​My fiance and I are in the final stages of our marital counseling. On Monday night, we hit a snag with our counselor. We were talking about compromise when my fiance said we will make all of our decisions together because the relationship should be 50/50. I disagreed. He was stunned when I did. I told our counselor that I believe the breadwinner in a relationship should have the final say in all important decisions. In our case, I'm the breadwinner and believe I should have the final say on all important decisions. My fiance does not agree with that. He says great relationships work because they are 50/50. I believe that and also believe that the breadwinner should have the final say. Where do you stand on this?"

"My family is upset with me because of the gifts I gave my grandchildren for graduating and completing another school year. Each year, I give all of my grandchildren a card with the same amount of money. This year, I changed things up and gave different amounts of money to the children. Some made more than others based on their grades and accomplishments. My two sons and my daughter went ballistic on me. They said my gifts created havoc in their households among their children. Some were upset because their brothers or sisters received more cash than they did. I told my kids that those who did better were rewarded with more money. They said that was a terrible idea and that kids don't understand that. I told them that this is a perfect teaching moment and that they should tell their children the better they do the more money they can earn. They say I made a mistake by giving the kids different amounts? Did I? Some of the kids think I love their brothers and sisters more because I gave them more money"
