I'm Dr. Margaret, a psychologist for 30 years, TEDx speaker, and the author of Perfectly Hidden Depression. I created The SelfWork Podcast in 2016 to explain mental health treatment, and to give you the chance to consider therapy without thinking it's weird or that you can't "fix" your own problems. My team is so honored that five years later, SelfWork has earned nearly 5 million downloads! Each episode features the popular listener question. You’ll also hear “You Get the Gist” segments - a five minute run-down of a current topic - as well as interviews with outstanding guests, authors, or experts, adding to the wide diversity of topics listeners so appreciate. Regularly rated as one of the top mental health/depression podcasts out there, I keep it short and casual - and I'd love to hear from you. Please join me.

Short review from s/o dealing w/ procrastination, shame, despair, anxiety and narcissitic traits*

As part of my on-going self work project (against procrastionation in the case of writing this review), I would like to give fullsome praise to the tough but gentle words on Dr Rutherford's podcast. Her definition and description of PHD seem credible and insightful, and her description of how to find a way out fits my set of experiences. I feel less alone now. Sincere thanks for putting the time in to making these and sharing your expertese and experience.

*no surprise at that last one 😆
