In this edition of the podcast, you’ll hear another segment in our Meet The Fleet Series. We’ll be introducing you to veteran Jack Cooper driver Samuel Garcia. This episode will feature Part 1 of a far-ranging conversation that we had with Samuel, who operates out of Jack Cooper’s Bowling Green facility. As you’ll hear, working out of Bowling Green has given Samuel the opportunity to move the factory-new Corvettes from that Chevrolet plant location to the dealer’s show room. Samuel also talks about growing up in The Bronx, finding a career in the military and his first introduction into the world heavy-haul transportation.

Charlie Figgemeier joins us for this episode of the Jack Cooper Podcast. Charlie has been a fixture in the Jack Cooper fleet for the past nine years. In addition to his duties on the road, Charlie serves as a driver-trainer for the company. Charlie is one of the first people new hires meet in Jack Cooper’s Orientation at the company’s Wentzville, Missouri, terminal. As you’ll hear, Charlie has a passion for teaching, and his lessons extend well beyond instructing proper techniques and procedures. We’ll talk to Charlie about his career in trucking as well as how he found car haul and a home at Jack Cooper.
