    #197 Bill Stevenson (Descendents/All/Black Flag)

Punk rock legend and all-round hero Bill Stevenson is Matt's guest for Episode 197 of Life In The Stocks. It's a wonderfully in-depth discussion about punk rock, spirituality, life, art, friendships, and more. If you'd like to read the two books Bill suggests, search for Siddhartha (World Classics, Unabridged) and Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damnedest Thing by Jed McKenna.

    #195 Dave King (Flogging Molly)

Flogging Molly frontman Dave King is Matt's guest for Episode 195 of Life In The Stocks. The band just put out the 20th anniversary reissue of their debut album Swagger, which Dave talks to Matt about. They also discuss the early years of Flogging Molly, signing to Side One Dummy, recruiting skateboard legend Matt Hensley on accordion, and Dave's pre-Molly band, Fastway - with Fast Eddie Clarke (Motorhead) and Pete Way (UFO). And it'd be remiss of us not to touch on the annual Flogging Molly Salty Dog Cruise, and whether or not that will return post-COVID. Fingers crossed!

Great Podcast

As we do the same like Matt in our little podcast (I hope you don't mind when I plug it here, it's called "Common Talks"), I know how cool and interesting it can be to interview some of your heroes. He has so many great guests. I especially like the Johnny Rotten episode. Keep on doing this great podcast,Matt. Cheers from Berlin...
