Paul Jarvis and Justin Jackson catch up

Justin catches up with his old internet friend Paul Jarvis. Today, Paul co-founded Fathom Analytics ( https://usefathom.com/ ) with Jack Ellis ( https://twitter.com/JackEllis ): a simple alternative to Google Analytics. Paul is also the author of the book "Company of One ( https://www.amazon.com/Company-One-Staying-Small-Business/dp/1328972356/ )," which has influenced a whole generation of indie entrepreneurs (and has been reviewed by Cal Newport, Chris Guillebeau, Ben Chestnut, Tiago Forte, and more). Previously, Justin and Paul did a weekly mastermind ( https://justinjackson.ca/mastermind ), where they supported and encouraged each other around our indie businesses. They decided to do a catch-up call and recorded it so you could listen in. 👍

Great podcast, great guests, great host!

Everybody says they want to passionate nowadays, but Justin really is, about building products and selling them, and that makes this podcast so worthwhile. That plus that selection of guest represents the most interesting ideas and projects in this nascent industry.

Amazing Show

Justin has a very energetic interview / conversation style.
He asks the questions how people came to the point they are right now and which problems they had to overcome. If you are building your own product, you will hear many stories, that you can relate to from people that are like you. Thumbs up!

Inspiring interviews in a great format

This podcast by Justin Jackson is truly inspiring. The guests he's interviewing and their unique stories provide a lot of value. Every episode makes you want to build your own product or give you new ideas how to improve the way you build your current one.

Most episodes are about 30-40 minutes long, which make them a perfect fit to listen to one of them during your commute to work. There's no excuse that listening to this podcast will take too much of your time every week.

Justin's way to ask questions and "dig deeper" is great, and his dedication shows when he's introducing the show's sponsors: Although they don't change a lot, his introduction of every sponsor is unique in every episode. Each episode is not a commodity, but a carefully crafted single piece.
