Iran Renews Vow to Avenge Syria After Israeli Attack

Iran Renews Vow to Avenge Syria After Israeli Attack

An airstrike was carried out by Israeli forces on Iran's Embassy in Syria’s capital city: Damascus. It’s been reported that three senior commanders and four officers, who were part of overseeing covert operations in the Middle East, were killed in the strike. This has brought the continually increasing tensions throughout the Middle East and long-standing conflicts to light as Israeli forces maintain their presence in Gaza and more states in the region become involved in the conflict. This brings us to our own questions of how did we get here, and where we may be heading next?

Peace or Abandonment? Pope Francis wants Ukraine to wave a "White Flag"

In a recent interview with Pope Francis, he was asked by a Swiss reporter his position on the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, particularly regarding the debate over whether or not Ukraine should surrender to Russia. He emphasized the need for negotiations and referred to the courage of waving the white flag, which has brought many international reactions and raised questions regarding the role of the Vatican in international conflicts. This brings us to our own questions of how we got here, and where we may be heading next?
