Pure excellence
Matt’s voice is supper soothing therefore I listen to this podcast every day before bed. He says as much with his tone as he does with his words. Even though I’m an articulate native English speaker, I frequently write down phrases he uses. I could listen to Matt read and analyze a phone book, but this podcast is about pirates! What’s not to love?

One of THE best podcasts I have listened to in the past years, a brilliant and entertaining storyline and really nicely spoken. All the details, interesting facts and trivia on the people, pirates, queen, etc... Great descriptions of backgrounds, repeating important info to keep the context ... just a REALLY excellent series of history lessons!!! Keep up the great work Matt, you have a BIG fan in Germany!
