Thrilling, concerning, and real

I learned a lot about how professional police work is done in the US. Not always, but embarrasingly often.
It would have surprised noone if this had happened in China or Russia. It would have been handy proof of how rotten their police and justice system are.
We have major justice fails here in Germany, too. They are few and far between compared to the US, I think. Still bad enough, though.

competent, interesting & engaging

This is an interesting and engaging show that highlights lots of the finer points (and problems) of the US criminal justice system. The hosts are highly competent, passionate and compassionate, unafraid to take sides, and I salute them for the work they do. The one complaint that I have is that sometimes, the fine points get too fine to really captivate my interest (this from a fellow legal professional!), and some of the episodes are a bit rambling and repetitive, i. e. would profit from some rigorous editing.
