V4 Voices - Sustainable Business Transitions with a V4 perspective V4SDG LAB

Why do we need strong and coherent environmental policy in EU and in V4? How can individuals from V4 be part of the environmental policy-making process? In this episode our LAB members gave an overview of European environmental policies, approaches and targets (Grean Deal, F2F, Biodiversity 2030, EU Environmental Law etc.) and their possible implementation on the V4-level as well as national level environmental policies, priorities, problems, future trends, strength and weaknesses.

Only reinventing the way we do business, may support our efforts in the fight against climate collapse. There is no more space for the linear economy, we must learn how to close the loop by introducing circularity. The first episode of the V4 Voices challenges the traditional business model, by bringing on a new perspective on how to correlate economic with societal & environmental aspects, aiming at causing a positive impact by implementing sustainable business models. One may consider that there is a lack of businesses in V4 countries operating under this framework. Fortunately, podcast speakers are dispelling these doubts by providing comprehensive examples of how organizations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, are creating their sustainability agendas. Naturally, a lot is yet to come & to be learned, thus our V4SDG Lab Professionals are benchmarking sustainable efforts to the countries they have been to, or run projects in the region.
