We are starting off 2024 with a bang! In this week’s episode we are interviewing Senator Dafna Michealson Jenet, a foremost leader in our state for mental health advocacy. In this interview, we dive into the catalyst of Senator Jenet’s journey to universal access to mental health support, which started in a place different to what some may think. After experiencing a traumatic event when her then 9 year old son attempted suicide, Senator Jenet knew there needed to be change, and is now working to ensure mental health help for all.
