Adam Bozzetto - DJ, whisky slinger and Heaps Decent.

Adam Bozzetto - DJ, whisky slinger and Heaps Decent.

Adam Bozzetto is someone we've wanted to interview for a while, for a number of reasons. He's not a CEO, COO or Celebrity Chef, but his perspective on what's currently happening at the coalface of the industry is likely more highly tuned.

He has been a DJ in Sydney for a number of years and has seen first hand the impacts of the licensing changes imposed in NSW. He also imports and distributes Japanese whisky simply because he's passionate about it.

Further to this, Adam works with disadvantaged youth through Heaps Decent, a not-for-profit started by four hospitality minded individuals including international artist Diplo.

His perspective is relevant and current. He is also just a really nice guy.

Candidate Series #1 - Tom Kime, Executive Chef

Candidate Series #1 - Tom Kime, Executive Chef

This episode is a little different... I was sitting with Tom a few weeks back and discussing how we can help to spread the word about his unique skill set in order to help him find a great next venture and it dawned on me that the podcast is a great vehicle for this.

So, Tom and I sat down and recorded an interview that will provide insight into what he is looking for, his experience and where he sees the industry going.

We are working exclusively with Tom so if you would like to arrange a conversation with him, please email lukebutler@future-you.com.au or call (02) 9195 2363.

Michael Rodrigues - Founder & Managing Director at Time Out Australia

The latest episode of the Why Hospitality podcast is out and our guest is the Founder & MD of Time Out Australia, Michael Rodrigues.

Our chat focuses primarily on Michael’s current efforts to effect much needed regulatory change to improve the operating conditions for hospitality businesses in NSW.

We also discuss the leap of faith that Michael (who has an Engineering and Law background) took when launching a leisure-focused media business in a new market.

Thanks for listening and check out the show notes for more information covered in the conversation.
