Musiker Claus Hempler har allerede levet mange forskellige liv i musikkens tjeneste. Som ung forsanger i rockbandet Fielfraz ville han erobre hele verden, som debuterende solokunstner ville han bare gerne overleve og nu, som midaldrende sangskriver der for første gang udtrykker dig på dansk, føler han at han har givet sig selv en chance til. Anmelderroserne står i kø og Hempler har ramt en nerve, som han aldrig ville kunne have ramt som ung søgende musiker. Men hvordan føles det så egentlig at stå et sted i sin karriere, hvor man føler at man ikke har noget at miste? Det undersøger vi i ugens afsnit, som bliver understøttet af John Lennons solo debutalbum "Plastic Ono Band" fra 1970.
