ep. 26 - Am I doing dating (apps) wrong?

In today's episode, I'm back! After a long hiatus, I talk about why I took a break, mindset during this time, and briefly update y'all on what's been happening on my end. I also brought back a nice, hot cup of tea where I discuss my recent experiences on hinge (dating app), what the guys' side looks like, the type of profiles we see, and a match that turned out wasn't my match 🙃.

    ~Enjoy the tea~

ep 24. Physical 100 wrap up and facing our internal fears

ep 24. Physical 100 wrap up and facing our internal fears

Don't know about you, but I'm pretty finished with Physical 100. We laughed, were inspired, felt motivated to be our best selves, and now we get lazy and move on. Hopefully there's still a lingering passion to be your best physical self after watching Physical 100, but we're wrapping that up here and now. Moving on...
In today's episode, I wrap up my thoughts on Physical 100 since I finished binging it 2 weeks ago and honestly, I'm pretty over it. But this leaves room for discussion on what I'd like to see in the next season (if there is on) and how this show overall made me feel as a person and athlete. Not much to say except listen to the beginning half or 1/3 of the episode to hear more. Now, onto more interesting topics.... In the large remainder of the episode, we shift gears into how athletics and training plays a integral yet small part in my life regarding the insecurities and internal struggles I have been facing. I discuss this in on a general level for everyone to hopefully relate to and find some level of help from, as well as sharing personal experiences and thoughts on what went through my mind as a half Korean/white male as different life stages. On a final note, I share what I strongly believe helped me think through and understand my internal struggles to the point where positive change is within reach. If you enjoyed these type of talks, know that I plan to record episodes solely on this to get even deeper and raw.
Thank you lots for listening in and share the pod with everyone you know!

    Warm regards,
    Joey

Ep. 23 - Hot modeling and Physical 100

Ep. 23 - Hot modeling and Physical 100

Still working out a solid, consistent upload schedule, but here's one for you.

Today's episode is split between two topics and are not really related. I talk about my very first modeling/photoshoot experience and how I think one can get their foot in the door into a modeling career. I share what I've learned and overall impressions of this path, but just so you know I'm a model so I know what I'm talking about *whips hair back* (obviously I'm joking, in no way am I knowledgeable nor an expert in this field). The episode then changes gear into a topic that I'm passionate about and is something that's been a part of my life for a very long time: sports and the athletic pursuit. Like any sane person, I've been binge watching a Korean Netflix series called Physical 100. I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone, but just now that after watching you'll wanna take up some sport or athletic/physical pursuit. I share my current thoughts what the show and what I felt while watching in respect to my athletic career in endurance sports, namely triathlons. By the next episode, know that I'm gonna go all into talking about the it and sharing who I felt a mini crush towards. Here's a secret, there's more than one *wink*.

Enjoy today's episode and share with your friends and family!

ep. 22 - Coming back to the scene

ep. 22 - Coming back to the scene

I'm back, what more can I say? Well, there's quite a bit actually. For now, I'm making my entrance back to podcasting, spilling some updates on what I've been up to and where I've been, and mostly talking about how truly challenging and depressing it is to figure out what it is you'd want to do for the rest of your life. Yes, we're talking about finding our passions and life career goals or rather the lack there of./

In today's episode, I mainly discuss how I've struggled (and continue to) with finding a genuine passion and goal to strive towards in life. We go over how this feels, but mostly how I believe we can all overcome this slowly but surely. Join me for some relatable feels, advice/methods I think are worth implementing in life for any sort of positive change, and for the sake of joining since it's been awhile and I miss you :)
