    Stien Gijsel

    Stien Gijsel works in Nutrition Integration at the United Nations' World Food Programme. She was formerly a Nutrition Specialist and Nutrition Consultant at UNICEF. Stien worked for the International Medical Corps during the Haiti earthquake in 2010 and holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

    Caroline Williams is a science writer with an extensive background in magazine and radio journalism. She is a regular contributor to the New Scientist and has spent years in-house as a feature editor covering stories pertaining to neuroscience, health and nature. 

    She is also the author of two books: Move! (published in April 2021) and Override. In our conversation, we touch upon her work across the science journalism field and the content of her books.

    Dr Sridhar Venkatapuram

    Dr Sridhar Venkatapuram is a Senior Lecturer in Global Health and Philosophy at King's College London. He is an alumnus from world-leading universities with degrees in International Relations (Brown University), Public Health (Harvard University), Sociology (Cambridge University) and Political Philosophy (Cambridge University). 

    Dr Venkatapuram is an eminent figure in public/global health policy and was a pioneer of the health and human rights movement in his HIV/AIDS research as it pertained to human rights.

    He has worked with the Ford Foundation, Population Council, Open Societies Institute and Doctors of the World, and various other major international health organisations.
