Having introduced ungrading in their previous institution, Gath shares how they are using ungrading and the principles of ungrading to address power structures in the classroom in their new institution. We also talk about metacognition, the level of work it is for students, and ways in which we, as instructors, might help students learn to effectively think about their own thinking.
