Historical inaccuracies?

Van Dyck was born in 1599 (not 98) and was he not a child of a 12 child family. The phrasing used is unclear as it suggests that he was the only child which wasn’t true.

I think it’s also important to note that he was able to paint to a high level at the age of 14 and had set up his own studio with his friend at 16 before giving that up to work for Rubens.
