I love Emma's weekly podcasts. I always look forward to her new ones. Informative, shocking, factual and funny in places. She researches everything so thoroughly.
Just don’t like the style

I really don’t like the approach that the narrator has chosen, or the delivery. Just sounds gossipy. There’s a great podcast on BBC sounds called “Claudia Lawrence-a Mother’s Story” and it’s a very dignified treatment. This delivery feels like cashing in by someone who loves the sound of her own voice. Merely my opinion but I find this irritating.
Should actually be called “I’ll just put it out there”

Really love the stories; but I’m purely listening out of interest of the stories and not the narrator. I’ve seen her on multiple murder programmes and she’s fine, informative and to the point. Appreciate the TV personality. But Emma on a podcast with no direction from a director or producer is just too much, opinions are fine but the opinions suggest we all have the same opinions as her, even stupid daft ones like going on about it for 10 mins, how “we” all think Christmas is the best celebration all year round and people who like Halloween are weird. No, sorry Christmas is annoying and a lot of money. Halloween is fun. End. Also the stupid voices she puts on, and don’t even get me started on how many times she repeats the line “I’m just gonna put it out there” I was 9 mins deep in one episode and I already counted 5 times Emma had said that line and now I can’t unhear it every single episode!! She should absolutely do podcasts with the knowledge and qualifications this woman has in crime and psychology of which I can absolutely appreciate and admire, but I recommend a team of editors/producers to wind it down when she’s going off on one. P.s I am a woman also before going off thinking I’m being sexist
Awful

Listened to baby P no compassion or empathy and the added chat and sarcasm is so unnecessary
