Isabella endured a harrowing period of escalating abuse at the hands of her mother's partner, Scott Jeff, while her mother, Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell, failed to protect her. The couple shockingly concealed Isabella's death for several days, transporting her lifeless body in a pushchair around Ipswich. Their heinous actions culminated in a trial at Ipswich Crown Court, where Jeff was convicted of murder and child cruelty, receiving a life sentence with a minimum term of 26 years. Gleason-Mitchell was convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child and child cruelty, resulting in a 10-year prison sentence.
