    503. Insights: Stablecoins and crypto: the next generation of B2B payments

On the surface, the world of payments is constantly evolving. With the likes of PayPal, Venmo and a multitude of other consumer fintechs, peer-to-peer payments and consumer-to-business payments have seen rapid and innovative advancements in recent year. The same, however, cannot be said for business-to-business. Although global B2B payments dwarf any other kind, they still seem to dwell in a relative Stone Age of innovation and efficiency. So how can B2B payments be better? Are stablecoins the answer or does the solution lie in the existing infrastructure?

In this episode, Simon Taylor and guests try to answer just that. Joining the show this week are:

Jeremy Allaire - Co-founder and CEO at Circle
Rita Liu - Chief Operating Officer at Mode
Robert Leshner - Founder & CEO, Compound

Great podcast

Excellent round-up of the industry with the weekly News instalment. The Insights shows are also great for a closer look at a specific subject so can be a bit more selective with listening.

Only thing I’d ask is please change the awful theme music - that noise just cuts through me!

Great fintech insights

Wonderful podcast! A good mix of guests, interesting insights and always ahead of the curve.

Really enjoy the podcast only issue is sometimes feels like it misses the bigger picture

Honestly really enjoy listening, and enjoy 99% of the content.

there are though a few smaller growth areas (for me):

- you often miss the view from the traditional banks / institutions which isn’t bad but sometimes I feel that your guests miss some of the bigger picture things that they are doing. Example being monzo is all great (I am a customer of theirs) but second party fraud is likely going to hammer them in the coming years as we know that these issues peak 3 years after account opening.
- would love to see more forward thinking. An example being ESG investing and how this change in customers wants from their investments will impact the uk market. Will companies shift, will customers expect a bespoke fund or it to be across all funds. How will investment companies react.

Hope this is helpful. Genuinely enjoy this podcast just wanted to add my 10 pence and try to help improve it.

Overall though think this podcast is one of the best
