Nothing like this in the UK

So pleased i found this as we have nothing like it in the UK. So many insights and stories that I can learn from a share with my team.

My goal is to now raise or sell large enough to make a shout out 💪👌

Amazing insights for anyone involved or interested in startups!

For years I have been regularly listening to TWIST. It is incredible that this podcast is free and available for anyone to listen to. You get not only entertaining stories, but also practical advice and observations that can be very valuable for your startup. The insights from some of the episodes definitely won't available in the mainstream media.

Jason is a great host! He creates an environment where his guests are encouraged to be candid and informal, which makes episodes very interesting. Highly recommend!

My favourite episodes – Keith Rabois (E904), Vlad Magdalin (E973), and Emmanuel Straschnov (E1021).

TWiST is a truly extraordinary show. Super host Jason and his awesome team keep overdelivering by bringing very interesting guests from the world of startups. They are consistent and entertaining. Show is a perfect mix of theory and practice about modern entrepreneurship and many of the interviews can be interpreted as a compelling business case study for world’s top universities. Jason is somehow an artist like Jay Z, on one day he is down with the streets and talks to entrepreneurs about the nits and grits, while on the other day he casually pulls Cris Sacca straight from the president’s office or talks finance on CNBC.

He also practices what he preaches and uses most recent tech such as Slack to innovatively build a supportive TWiST community. He then drags you there with his eager enthusiasm and optimism. Would honestly give about seven stars, probably even more if I could, but there is a little ’but’.

I’d take one away because of the sponsor plugs that I learned to take only half serious. Jason will sell to you like top entrepreneur without you even knowing he is selling, so this sort of hustle is something an entrepreneur can deeply appreciate. He would also promote services like Mailchimp along with counter-tech culture against Facebook 😁✌️ As an entrepreneur you can appreciate things like that too, although you need to be very critical of actually applying these sort of things into your own business. Imo, if they take the ads away, off to Mars with Elon Musk they go 🚀✨

I’d take another star away simply because everything around TWiST can be too addictive. But hey, we are just human, so if you need to listen to any podcasts as an obsessed entrepreneur, then listening to TWiST is ok.

All in all, TWiST is absolutely booming 💥 Do take the ads only half seriously and beware of the addiction as you might become a superfan after some episodes blow your entrepreneurial mind away 🤯 You might also tap into a whole new ecosystem 🤖🔬👀👋 Five star review is far more than well deserved ❤️♾
