Well informed, brilliant analysis with a spoonful of comedy thrown in. Great rapport between the hosts, I never miss an episode.
Love this podcast

I don’t even care about the tech world that much but I love this podcast in the same way I loved Car Talk on NPR when I was like 8 and didn’t drive or care about cars. 10/10 banter and really well presented tech news.
Insightful but frustrating

Many useful insights but to get them you have to tolerate a very narrow view of the world. There is a predominantly worshipful attitude towards any tech lead. Gigantic issues are overlooked. The darker basis for ai progress is ignored (digital intrusion and cultural theft). The hosts are more worried about the impact on their sector and sort of accept impact in other areas - and they are particularly weak on the impact of ai on the creative sector. There is no mention of the energy use and climate impact of emerging AI tech except for the occasional chuckle. The devastation of teenage TikTok use is sometimes giggled through. I don’t recall there ever being any reference to the majority of people in the world and what AI reliance will mean. This lack of balance leads to a kind of untethered optimism that is difficult to justify in fact but I do keep listening as there are often insights that I can feed into my own world view.
One of the best tech podcasts out there!

This podcast is great. The hosts are well informed and really know their stuff! At first the jokes felt a bit forced and a couple still do but overall the humour is funny and a lot of the jokes are funny. The hosts have great chemistry together and I love hearing their views on all things tech related. Always happy to see a new episode pop up in my feed. Would love to see more gaming stuff on the podcast if possible but overall it does a great job at covering a wide range of tech topics. Highly recommend.
