About Cinema Managers: The real reason why the snacks are so expensive...

Today, Joe and Tom meet Ellen, who is a cinema manager at the Campbeltown Picture House in Scotland... if you are ever near by, you should go, it sounds wonderful. They ask her everything you'd ever want to know about cinemas, such as why are the snacks so expensive? What is the weirdest item that has ever been left? And what are the films that have caused most people to walk out? Plus, Joe tells us about his experiences watching possibly the most random and disturbing film of all time. And turns out it's a real film, he wasn't making it up.
Ellen has a podcast called 'Down The Back Of The Seats', and you can listen to it here: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/down-the-back-of-the-seats/id1690055014
You can also also follow her on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/downthebackoftheseats/

TheGardenerBP ,

Amazing podcast with usually amazing questions!

Love this podcast, it’s quickly become one of my favourites. I never miss an episode. So fascinating, funny and at times deep and emotional.
But Tom….as if you just asked a woman if the best part of the Barbie movie (seminal, feminist masterpiece) was Ryan Gosling. Face palm.
Love everything else, keep doing what you’re doing!

From ridiculous to ludicrous!

But always insightful. Thanks for a great pod ⭐️
