Brilliant! A great time to reflect. Ten years on from the USA landscape on the eve of another election. I’d be very interested to hear your views on Isabel Wilkerson’s fresh perspective on race and racism in Caste. Your voice is still too rare. More please.
Tales told from a middle-class lefty echo chamber

If these were taken from a year 12’s exam project it might be taken more seriously. As it is, unless you’re living in one of the Guardian’s notorious echo chamber, most (not all) come across as simplistic, irrelevant and not very worrying at all.
Depth of reporting second to none

Deeply researched and brilliantly told stories

Same old issue, from the same perspective. If this was new to the guardian & it’s readers then perhaps 4 of 5 stars. But there’s nothing to learn here, as the guardian has been (rightly) shining a light on the industry for decades. So, how about looking at the issue from a local perspective? The UK meat industry is no where near as horrifying as the US, it’s even better than the EU standards! It’d be good to hear a balanced look rather than only looking at an issue from a North American lens. 🤦🏻♂️
