The best politics podcast from the best politics radio show
This is the daily highlights of Matt Chorley’s Times Radio show, which broadcasts on Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 13:00. However, this doesn’t really do it justice, because it’s not just some random selection of ‘best bits’ from the show - it has a proper format to it. First, the section of the radio show where Matt speaks to two regular columnists from the Times / Sunday Times about the day’s (political) events, is included in full, followed by the main section of the show, which can be a regular weekly feature such as the excellent and incisive PMQ’s Unpacked, or a special feature with someone from the world of politics past or present, who might have been ‘in the room’ when some of the biggest political events happened. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and it’s funny too!
Slightly biased ?
Excellent Podcast...couldn’t do without it. HOWEVER I have noticed Matt becoming more and more anti Tory. Of course this is the same with various BBC presenters as well...indeed the BBC in general....Fiona Bruce a case in point. Bring back the Dimblebys and Andrew Neals where it was far more difficult to discern which side of the line they stood....keep Matt Chorley though but please explain to him the necessity of not showing his bias quite so much.
Finally
At last I have got around to writing a review for this wonderful podcast. The balance of humour and information is so well judged.
Love the hosting by Matt and all the fantastic “pairings”. Libby Purves my all time favourite!
