Charlie & George travel to the dangerous jungles of Central Africa to tackle cult 90s blockbuster oddity, Congo!
It has all the ingredients for a blockbuster: based on a Michael Crichton novel, from the makers of Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park, creature effects by the late Stan Winston, and a diverse cast including a scenery (and sesame cake) devouring Tim Curry - but is it successful? EP128 - Drop Zone vs Terminal Velocity

EP128 - Drop Zone vs Terminal Velocity

1994 gave us not one, but two skydiving action thrillers, so Charlie and George thought it was only fair to revisit, review and compare both Drop Zone and Terminal Velocity.

It's Wesley Snipes vs Charlie Sheen. It's Gary B (that's Busey) vs the KG - Used to Be. There can only be one victor, but who are the boys backing? The results may surprise you!

Great listen and so many shared memories

Came across totally by accident and never looked back. Great show with all the films you had sometimes forgotten about and suddenly go yeah that was ace or totally crap but a great listen

Great podcast

Discovered this podcast by accident but I’m really glad I did. Very informative rammed full of fun facts and trivia with plenty of terrible impressions which are funny. A walk down memory lane for anyone that grew up watching movies of this era.Highly recommended. My only issue is that it’s costing me a small fortune as every episode I listen to makes me nostalgic and I end up on Amazon buying the blu ray

Fantastic retro film podcast!

I would highly recommend checking out this film podcast. Their main focus is on reviewing, with great humour and even greater impressions!, films that they grew up loving in the 80s and 90s in particular. The chemistry between the brothers is fantastic and I have flown through their back catalogue. Lovely stuff!
