I have listened to 40 plus episodes so far and have enjoyed every single one. As someone who is a novice on the era, I found each instalment to be well paced, engaging, and most importantly make you want to continue the story in future episodes.

I met Nick at Colchester Roman festival this year and he mentioned he had this podcast, shortly after meeting him I started listening to the podcast and I am up to episode 38 as of today. The podcast provides insight into Roman history all of the way from Pre Roman Empire and discusses the various Emperors and key historical events throughout. This covers major historical figures such as Julius Caesar, Augustus, Marcus Aurelius and Constantine the Great. Anyone interested in Roman history or history in general should give this a listen.
