I have a lot in common with Matt, both from Nottingham and mad Forest fans. I love comedy and politics too. We are at different ends of the Labour Party although I think Matt might have left and not sure if he’s rejoined. I enjoy the wide range of guests he has and his general style but occasionally when he interviews someone close to him politically he doesn’t always ask the searching questions I’d want him to! A good case in point was the Iain McNicol interview with some general assertions left fairly unchallenged. I’d encourage Matt to have Andrew Fisher on who worked for the LP between 2015 and 19 for an alternative perspective of some of those issues.

Such a positive man who always brings and sees the best in the people he interviews.

Matt Forde is such a top listen, yes he had his own politics but he has a charm that enables him to get the very best from his guests. All the while ready with a good natured comic remark to lift the mood. 5 stars all the way, keep going Matt such great content!

So glad Matt is back and just as good as ever. Mogg was interesting, and I love the respectful way the interview flowed. It would be dull if we just listened to people we agree with. Thanks Matt. Oasis reunion is on the cards :)

In the loooong election season the only thing I listened to be the end was TPP - it reminds you that there are a lot of interesting, fun, polite and well motivated people in politics and Matt is a lovely, warm and balanced host. Bravo!

What a brilliant idea to interview the candidates. Matt comes across as impartial, interested and warm. These interviews show the listener the person behind the politics.

I am astonished at the degree of warmth that Matt brings to his interviews, especially with candidates whose views are very different to his own. He manages to get behind the rhetoric to the humanity of the candidates. A perfect antidote to the cynicism that so many feel about politics and politicians
