    Yoga Nidra Meditation for Sleep

    Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious sleep.  Also known as the Yogic Sleep, we enter a state of being deeply relaxed and fully aware.  

    As a restorative practice, it aids healing in body, mind and soul, and resets our nervous system to support improved quality of sleep. The benefits for a better night's sleep can be achieved whether you practice Yoga Nidra before bed, or during the day at any time.  The important thing to remember, for maximum benefit, is not to let yourself fall asleep during this practice.  And as with anything yoga, the benefits are cumulative.  The more regular you practice, the greater the benefits.
