    She exists within each of us, 

    The mother of love.

    And she’s waiting for you to say when.

    She’s ready to hug you,

    When you need it the most,

    Ready to be stern now and then.

    PAUSE…

    She knows all the words,

    That you needed to hear,

    When you were a growing young girl.

    She knows all the ways,

    To fill up your heart,

    So you can shine and twirl.

    PAUSE…

    So reach deep inside, 

    And decide that you will,

    Mother yourself with sweet care.

    Then open up wide,

    To the goodness that’s here,

    This love is beyond compare. 

    Breathe fully,

    Deep into your core.

    Exhale completely,

    Relax a little more. 

    LONG PAUSE…

    See if you can ride,

    The rhythms of your breath,

    Its pace slows you down as you go.

    Then feel your heart beat,

    And know you are whole,

    Destined to be here and in flow.

    Breathe fully,

    Deep into your core.

    Exhale completely,

    Relax a little more.

    Imagine those arms,

    Wrapped around you tight,

    As you melt into the depths of their love. 

    Feel yourself surrender, 

    To the healing and delight,

    You are so beloved.

    What do you need, sweet one?

    How can I help?

    To all of you mothers, 
    Whose babies are new,
    Who sleeplessly hold your sweet ones.

    May you find rest,
    And know in your soul,
    You can handle whatever comes. 

    PAUSE

    To all of you moms, 
    Who have little kids,
    Whose values you’re trying to mold. 

    I know it is heavy,
    But Divine is right here,
    Helping you to carry the load. 

    PAUSE

    To all of you mothers, 
    Deep in the teens,
    Doing your best to survive.

    Keep showing up,
    As the mother they need,
    And watch as they thrive.

    To all of you mamas,
    Whose kids are grown up,
    Carving out paths all alone.

    It can be tough,
    As you learn to let go, 
    And let them live lives of their own.

    To all of you souls,
    Who have said goodbye,
    To your mother whose time had come.

    Grief braids itself in who you become.

    I deeply honor you.

    To your motherly truth.

    Feel your motherly essence, 
    Swirl with the past,
    With the women who’ve mothered your soul. 

    Let it surround you,

    Beautiful mama, you are whole.

    There is sweet comfort,
    Knowing there is,
    An invisible, unspoken bond.

    Between all us moms, 
    Who won’t judge or pry,
    We’ll do anything to bring calm.

    Is to honor a false idol,

    A ghost that does not exist.

    Rest deeply now,

    As these affirmations wash over you tonight,

    Relaxing you,

    And welcoming you into deep sleep. 

    Breathe,

    It’s time to come inside. 

    Away from the noise of the day,

    Away from the noise in your head. 

    And deep into the center of you.

    The beautiful soul who is ready to be nourished,

    Ready to restore herself,

    Ready to sleep.

    PAUSE…

    So drop your shoulders,

    And soften your face.

    Let your arms and legs fall heavily into your bed.

    Feel yourself melt deeper,

    Every time you exhale.

    I am enough.

    I am loved.

    Inner peace is possible for me.

    How I feel matters.

    I can transcend and overcome trauma I’ve experienced.

    I can go through hard phases and come out stronger. 

    My anxiety does not control me.

    I give myself compassion and grace.

    I am surrounded by love.

    I am calm and present.

    I easily tap into peace even in tough moments.

    I am love.

    It is okay for me to feel all my feelings.

    It is okay for me to take a break when I need it. 

    I have nothing to prove to anyone.

    I make decisions that are best for me.

    I take time to rest and restore.

    I am loved.

    I reach out for help when I need it.

    I am worthy of living vibrantly.

    I trust my intuition to guide me.

    I am enough.

    Allow yourself to settle,

    And sink into your bed. 

    Breathe…

    And guide yourself inside. 

    PAUSE…

    Relax your body,

    One cell at a time.

    Softening and calming,

    From the top of your head,

    Down into your face,

    Your neck, 

    Your shoulders,

    Arms,

    Chest,

    Belly,

    Back, 

    Hips,

    Legs,

    And feet. 

    Softening, 

    And relaxing,

    As you sink further into comfort.

    LONG PAUSE…

    See if you can locate the emotions,

    Swirling, 

    Or anchoring,

    Or floating inside. 

    PAUSE…

    It doesn’t matter why they’re here,

    Or what stories they tell.

    Just identify them,

    Isolating them,

    And holding them in place. 

    LONG PAUSE…

    Now see if you can imagine,

    Your arms wrapping around these emotions,

    Embracing each jagged edge,

    Each soggy tear,

    Each bursting star.

    PAUSE…

    You show them love, 

    Honoring each of them,

    Silently grateful for each one. 

    PAUSE…

    Now every time you exhale, 

    Imagine your embrace loosening, 

    And all of your emotions floating free.

    Slowly, 

    Hovering around you, 

    Slowly drifting away. 

    LONG PAUSE…

    Each exhale pushes them further away from you,

    Inch by inch,

    Mile by mile, 

    Galaxy by galaxy. 

    PAUSE…

    Breathe them out,

    Breathe them away,

    Let the emotions dissolve,

    They can no longer stay. 

    LONG PAUSE…

    Feel the liberation and expansion. 

    You are not defined by your emotions,

    You are the witness of your emotions. 

    You are the calm presence that remains unchanged amidst the ebb and flow of emotions.

    LONG PAUSE…

    Your body is calm, 

    Your mind is clear,

    And you are free.
