Weather in 5, 5/24/2024. the Memorial Day holiday weekend is upon us and we see severe weather risk being front and center over the next 3 days from the Plains to the Midwest & Ohio Valley and eventually the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states by the time we get to Monday. Elevated tornado risk is likley in the Southern Plains Saturday and in the Ohio Valley Sunday.

Severe weather could be an issue in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic Monday.

Weather in 5. 5/22/2024 We have warm summery conditions in the Eastern US today with sunshine and highs in the 80s to near 90 up and down the East Coast. Severe weather risks shift today from Western NY southwest across the Lower Ohio & Tennsessee Valley back into Texas. Risk areas shift eastward Thursday as well as redeveloping in the Plains. We have the outlook for the Memorial Day weekend and we should point out that there is some indicating for severe weather risk, especially for the Tennessee Valley over the weekend and in the Eastern US Monday.

Joe & Joe Weather Show Podcast LIVE 7:35PM 5/20/2024. Severe weather is front and center in the Plains to the Midwest tonight and a widespread severe weather outbreak is possible Tuesday in the Upper Mississippi Valley to the Great Lakes. Tornado risk is elevated and there is EF2 TO EF5 tornado risk. In the Eastern US an upper ridge is making for warm and dry conditions through Wednesday as temperatures rise. Thursday brings a cold front and the chance for showers and thunderstorms. We will have a closer look at Friday and the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
