Madilyn reads chapter 1 of Katie the Cat Sitter by Colleen AF Venable and Stephanie Yue. This is considered a graphic novel and is written comic book style. She will explain some of the pictures to help carry you along into the story and Madilyn likes to switch up voices to keep it interesting when multiple characters are talking. In the first chapter we learn about a break in at the cosmetics factory and we are introduced to Katie's mom.
