Father, the easier it is to say these two-letter words, the more difficult are his responsibilities. What is the role of a father in his family and how his family grows in his shadow, Chakresh is explaining about it in a poetic way in this poem.

वक़्त के साथ-साथ यादों के कुछ मंज़र धुंधले पड़ने लगते हैं, उनमें कुछ ऐसी भी यादें होती हैं जिन्हें हम कभी भुलाना नहीं चाहते. लेकिन न चाहते हुए भी वो कमज़ोर पड़ने लगती हैं. "यादों का डोज़" में एक ऐसी ही याद के बारे में चक्रेश बता रहे हैं कि कैसे वो उस कमी से जूझते हुए एक याद को संभाले हुए हैं.

Time slowly erases our memories but few memories are precious and  we don't want to loose them.  But we can't help it, Chakresh the narrator of "Yaadon ka doze" is explaining in it, how he is struggling to keep one of his old memories.

Our memories aren't depended on clock. They can visit you whenever they want to. Sometimes these memories sounds filmy and sometimes they are related to some movie or it's song.
