How To Isolate Like An Astronaut

How To Isolate Like An Astronaut

No one knows how to isolate better than an astronaut, so we got you one! Dr. Sheyna Giffords is a medical doctor and an alien-in-residence for NASA. Dr. Shey participated in multiple space simulations, including Hi-SEAS; a mission where she and five other crew mates lived on a simulated Mars base in Hawaii --isolated from anyone else-- for a year. As both a doctor and a master of living in isolation, Dr. Shey will join our first ever Twitch livestream to give us an astronaut’s perspective on how to make it through quarantine.
Comedian and twitch favorite Ify Nwadiwe will be joining us as well to help make this quarantine just a little funnier.

    The Unseen Universe

    The Unseen Universe

95% of our universe is made of unseen ‘Dark’ Matter and Energy. This may sound like the stuff of fantasy but that figure is based on the detailed, and many times verified work of scientists over the past one hundred years. On our next Science! The Show Twitch Livestream we’ll be joined by renowned ‘Dark Universe’ researcher, NASA JPL’s Dr. Jason Rhodes to talk about the unseen universe we’re all a part of.
We’ll also be joined by Maria Bamford whose comedy examines the unseen in our daily lives.

Searching For Life In The Solar System

On our next live-streamed edition of Science! The Show, we’ll be joined by NASA-JPL astrobiologist Dr. Morgan Cable. Morgan will tell us all about the next generation missions she and her team are cooking up to look for biological signatures from moons in our own solar system. We’ll hear about which moons are likely candidates for extraterrestrial life, and why some of them smell like farts.
We’ll also be joined by a special comedy guest, Matthew Duckett
