Intense drought, severe storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, warming oceans are just some examples of our future. Climate change as a consequence of increased greenhouses emissions is already affecting people’s livelihood and communities. How can this be addressed?

Even though Guatemala is one of the 10 nations most vulnerable to the effects of climate change, the consequences of the climate crisis for most indigenous peoples are little known. How can we grow awareness of this climate injustice to enabling the already vulnerable peoples to prepare for future changes and increase their community resilience?
