In today’s discussion on the subject of ‘Farm vets and nutritionists – reaping the benefits of collaborative working’, our hosts Ami Sawran and Claire Whittle are joined by independent ruminant nutritionist, Hefin Richards, to bridge that gap between farmer and vet, nutrionally. Hefin comes from a livestock farming background and following studies at Harper Adams University, he has pursued a career in livestock nutrition. Rumenation Nutrition Consultancy is a truly independent, farm focussed advisory business, working with progressive dairy units totalling over 14,000 cows.

Bovine Viral Diarrhoea, better known as BVD, is a highly contagious viral disease, affecting cattle farmers across the country and an issue UK vets are challenged with on a daily basis.
