"Wings Stretched Out" chronicles the story of Winnie, a Eurasian golden oriole, who goes on the journey of a lifetime as she steps out of the nest and embarks on her first migration. Each flight brings Winnie to new places, new friends and new experiences. And while this journey is filled with adventure and fun, Winnie also learns that there’s a place for everyone.
"Wings Stretched Out" is written and illustrated by 12-year-old girl Manasvi, which is a unique combination of her favourite hobbies: art, writing and birds.

A National Geographic expedition made the first recorded observation of a unique fishing behaviour of the cormorants, which becomes the inspiration of this story.
