Former Highlanders, Crusaders and Māori All Blacks forward Joe Wheeler joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport, previewing the Super Rugby Pacific quarter-finals. It's Only Sport's cricket correspondent Rahul Patil joins show host Martin Devlin in studio, for an extended chat about the Twenty20 World Cup currently going on in the West Indies and United States. The tournament has been going for just under a week and already a couple of upsets have been served up - headlined by the USA's shock win over Pakistan on Friday, winning by five runs in a super over. The Black Caps play their opening match on Saturday morning against Afghanistan. Patil and Devlin preview that New Zealand match, while also recapping the USA's win and the strange occurrence of Pakistan bowling seven no-balls in the super over, other key results so far, predictions for the Super 8 phase of the tournament, and more.

On today's podcast, it's a MASSIVE review of the opening match of the 2024 State Of Origin series, which was won convincingly by Queensland 38-10 over New South Wales in Sydney. The 'Canes secured top spot on the ladder after their bonus point win over the Highlanders, and the Blues failing to secure a bonus point in their win over the Chiefs last week. Jane talks to Devlin all about the match at hand, what they expect the Rebels to bring to the table, the form of a number of players including Ruben Love and TJ Perenara, and more.
