What Now? with Trevor Noah

Excellent discussion. I now have more questions and no answers. What else could I expect from Harari? I’m Jewish American and have friends of different religions and nationalities. I’ve always lived in the US; never been to Israel. That’s where I draw my line. Judaism is my religion; it’s not my nationality. Thank you, Trevor, for having Yuval as a guest.

I’ve appreciated the past couple episodes about the election. This one for after the election was especially great to listen to. Thank you!

Kamala - did her very best! The democrats who voted, voted for decency and Biden is an excellent president! Obama “finger wagging” was not the problem. If u are not a misogynist, then that msg was not for you. I have been reading the comments on YouTube. One comment I saw on YouTube, was from the Dailyshow episode that Tressie did - the magaheads actually said in comments “women are not well one week of the year, can’t have then running the country” they wrote that! No one held burnt orange Jesus to the same standard they held Kamala. Like Trevor said - they never asked him to explain OR like CNN, NO ONE fact checked him. So ppl hearing the lies didn’t see a fact check on some crazy things - and they believed it! If ima single parent working 2 jobs (uniquely American), and I only have a few mins to understand who I should vote for. So i sit to watch the CNN debate and hear what everyone is about- and I get a bunch of lies with no fact check - There goes my vote! To the most simple and easy fix , like dump said . It must b true, b/c no one said IN THE MOMENT, it wasn’t! Here is another thing - y don’t ppl think dump is not gonna do away with ALL norms, like Russia. He not gonna step down like Nixon? Nixon had respect for Merca to some extent - he stepped down. Dump watched it on tv, and didn’t even participate in a peaceful transition. Even now to hear on your show, that ppl still think dump is gonna b contained - nuts! But like Sherilyn Ifill told us - “we have all shifted to the right” - y are we saying they we should adopt this slightly more “Reagan like” approach - that would b lying to everyone, b/c that’s not authentic! Also, Civics in school! The Dems doing cleanup after gop, is like the movie “the last American virgin.” Y ppl think that dump will LEAVE in 4 years?! He’s doesn’t wanna do the work! He’s gonna play golf & drink Diet Coke . Meanwhile, Bannon, JD, uday and qusay gonna b running the country! Let’s see if he gets sentenced this month? Hispanics don’t think they black! Dump’s casinos always lose!

Both of these episodes brought a point of view I needed to hear. Comment: Obama has been criticized because he created his party structure because the white Democratic party wouldn’t support him when he needed to. I know that is true in Florida. One thing that I learned from this election is that I’m not a party person. But Republicans can be brainwashed from the cradle. As always, my thanks to Trevor and the crew. It’s never dull.
