THIS SHOW GIVES ME LIFE
I’ve never left a review before but I saw a bunch of haters out here leaving negative reviews about Emmanuel and the “new direction” the podcast is going so I had to take a stand!!
I love reply all and the quirky stories they follow. And nothing cheers me up more than listening to a YYN and getting a good laugh out of it :) adding Emmanuel has only made the show smarter, better, & more representative of, like, the population of America—I’m just glad to see him out here telling really good stories about black ppl and about race more generally!! So everyone who is afraid of the “new direction” this show is going in... maybe ask yourself what you’re really afraid of 🤔
Far right snowflakes
People are complaining that the show has become political and is “too deferential to Black Lives Matter”. If you think this show has become political, you weren’t listening before. It was always political. Only now, in 2020, do they have to say it directly. People complaining about Emmanuel and Black Lives Matter, quiet down. The fact that we live in a society where not everyone sounds the same, is plenty enough reason to keep the British host. And in 2020, Black Lives Matter IS a tech issue. How algorithms and social media, and tech, is used for racial justice, makes it a tech issue.
Used to be my favorite podcast
Chemistry is off now and WAY too political and out of touch.
