Ep 139: Angela Legh | Phoenix Rising: Angela Legh's Path to Emotional Liberation

Ep 139: Angela Legh | Phoenix Rising: Angela Legh's Path to Emotional Liberation

Angela Legh is best known as the author of her children’s fantasy book series, The Bella Santini Chronicles, which gives children and their parents tools and techniques for emotional balance. For over 50 years, Angela experienced abuse, bullying, and belittlement, and through that exposure, she developed emotional management methods. Angela has been featured in USA Today; she is a Los Angeles Tribune newspaper and magazine columnist and has countless other media exposures. Angela is an international bestselling author with ten published books. Her most recent book is a 90-day journal that prompts users into self-love.

Angela is a conscious parenting consultant who has done everything from speaking to high school students about emotional intelligence to cohosting a television show on Thriving Women Network.

Have you asked yourself, "Where did that come from" after a situation where you over reacted or blew up? Emotional triggers happen to all of us but why? How do we change patterns of behaviour that are harmful to us and others? Angela suffered from the tyrrany of an alcoholic father, entered a toxic marriage and in a time of crisis after a wild fire, listened to the angels whispering in her ear to take her first act of self-love.

Key takeaways and questions we discuss:
💥 What is emotional repression and how does it hurt ourselves and others?
💥 How do we feel and express our emotions to heal, without harming others?
💥 When we shift our responsibility through the game game, we become a victim rather than putting ourselves in control.
💥 How can we combine a high level of nurturing with a high level of boundaries and rules for children?
💥 What does emotional well-being mean?
💥 Angela shares countless resources including her up-coming TV show, blog post, website resources, speaking and writing engagements as well as her book series.
