A series of podcasts for people who are thinking about counselling, or who have started therapy. The series will cover topics such as: "How do I know this therapist is the right person for me?", "What factors contribute to low self-esteem and what can I do about it?", "How can I stop procrastinating and make a good decision?", "How can I reduce the stress I feel?", "How can I be more assertive in my relationships and say the difficult things I want to?"
The series is intended to be a prequel to and a supplement to therapy, not a substitute for it.

Thank you so much for this H e l p f u l podcast
Thank you so much for this podcast - I have just listened to the one on self esteem - I never knew that my job up to the age of 18 was to receive strokes - yes you describe well how I feel, sometimes I capitulate when I am bullied and sometimes I get fuming and angry.
Thank you for these well spoken, intelligent, and kind podcasts
