Do not count calories after bariatric surgery, particularly early on!
If you've just had weight loss surgery, calorie counting can be extremely unhelpful. When someone is struggling with weight regain, yes it can be helpful, and I speak about that here. Calorie counting does not take into account your overall nutrient intake, your fluid intake, and can exacerbate your past history of yo-yo dieting.
