Top notch podcast, always interesting and in-depth story at the top of the episode that illustrates the concept. No fancy jargon, practical advice for every day life.
Nails on a chalkboard!

I am decreasing the numbers of stars since my last review this past March, and we are at the end of June. Katy’s creaky voice (vocal fry) at the end of sentences is getting worse! My previous advices were simply discarded. Please, do something to increase a little bit your speech register (tone). We don’t need to imitate a man’s voice to sound authoritative. Please talk like a woman, at a slighter high pitch, so that your vocal cords don’t produce this glottal scrape sound. Am I asking for something impossible? Take it as a challenge and use your vast intelligence to conquer this impairment. Thanks. On March 2024, I wrote fir the second time, the following: On October 23, 2023 I wrote the following review. The content of the podcast is brilliant. Unfortunately, Katy Milkman did not make any effort, apparently, to fix her severe vocal fry at the end of sentences. Her vocal fry is so intense that we get distracted. Despite being outstanding, it is quite uncomfortable to listen to this podcast. Please get rid of this creaky voice at the end of sentences! A speech therapist is advisable to make this podcast one of the best, as it deserves to be. Today, March 27, 2024, more than five months after, I hear no improvement on her extreme vocal fry. The admission of a problem is the first step to solve it. Unless Katy suffers from a self-serving bias, maybe a topic for a future show. Katy is phenomenal. I love her podcast despite the fait that I cringe every time when I hear the end of her sentences. It is like the squeaking sound of chalk on a blackboard.
