Dr. Easter serves as a missionary educator with the Assemblies of God World Missions in Africa. In his role as the regional strategic leader for training, he also serves as the Director of Africa’s Hope, a ministry that aids various training programs among national AG schools in Africa; the Vice Chancellor of Pan-Africa Theological Seminary, the doctoral initiative of the AG in Africa; and the Executive Director of the Association for Pentecostal Theological Education in Africa (APTEA), a multidenominational association providing schools with accreditation service, faculty enrichment and scholarly publication.


In 2001, he established All Nations Theological Seminary in cooperation with the Malawi Assemblies of God to provide a regional training school preparing African men and women for missionary service. In addition, John participates as a member of the World Mission Commission for the Africa Assemblies of God Alliance.


Before serving in Africa, he pastored for 13 years in the United States. Presently, John and his wife, Cheryl, are based primarily in Nairobi, Kenya, coordinating over 150 training systems across the African continent and dozens of African trainers.

Dr. Allen Tennison served in pastoral ministry for over 15 years in Kentucky, Missouri, and California. He worked in higher education for over 20 years, as both a professor and dean, in California and Minnesota. He is currently serving as a theological advisor to the national leadership of the Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO.

Rick Allen serves as the national director of Men's Ministries and Light for the Lost (LFTL). Under his leadership, LFTL launched a very successful media project, Celebrate the Light (CTL) in 2013, which shows local churches how LFTL is being used around the world and how churches can partner with LFTL. Appointed as the national Men's Ministries director in January 2016, Rick is assembling a strategic team and discipleship pathway for men of all backgrounds and spiritual growth levels.

Dan serves as the Director of Development and Communications for Men’s Ministries and Light for the Lost. Dan Kersten has a strong passion for missions and ministry. He has worked in the fields of ministry development, communications, and fundraising for the past 15 years. His ministry includes all forms of communications from our office, and overseeing Celebrate the Light (our LFTL media fundraising presentation). He also helps create ministry resources for leaders and men, and assists our districts/networks and local churches to utilize our resources.
