Dr. Coonrod teaches the class “Rhetoric in the Horror Film” at Butler, and he has been working with horror films for the past 15 years, working on local films and academically. The three talk about the horror films The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Psycho, Split, Hereditary, Midsommar, and Halloween and the specific links between these films and their portrayal of mental health and illnesses.
