I have always liked Dave but he just has the most smug annoying attitude and the way he talks just reminds me of a smug cry baby. You seem to have a new problem every day and I just hear this wimpy smug voice about every single one of the issues. Not everything is the ending the world Dave, take a freaking chill pill.

Something happened to Dave after Trump became president again. He’s only highlighting the positives in Trump without discussing the flaws, and he’s completely ignoring Israel now. For example, executive orders against criticizing Israel on college campuses or the $$$ and bombs still being sent to Israel….

I enjoy Dave’s takes, but the extreme right-leaning takes have officially gotten old.

This podcast is topical and interesting. I like listening to opinions all over the political spectrum to try and gain a better understanding of how people think. Dave and Robbie are well informed and both posses a sharp wit. For the most part I really enjoy the podcast. However, Dave Smith has extremely thin skin and feels the need to subject the listeners to shrill, petty takedowns of those that disagree with or in any way criticize him or anyone he considers a friend. I love a good counterpoint argument but Smith comes off a little too mean girl in my opinion. Often, after listening to these episodes I will go and listen to the offending podcast for context. I find many times that he misses a lot by selectively editing and misinterpreting the broader point. But hey, although political commentary this is for entertainment after all so I do get it. That said, I still think it’s a good podcast and worth a listen.
