    How Therapy Changed My Life

    How Therapy Changed My Life

Therapy has truly changed my life, so I figured I'd record an episode exploring my relationship with therapy and sharing what I've learned. Let's take control of our mental health in 2024 and beyond!

What To Do If You're In A Bad Body Image Slump

What To Do If You're In A Bad Body Image Slump

TLDR: I haven't been feeling great about my body lately. It happens to us all; you are not alone! Listen to this episode if you want to hear my personal tips for getting through a rough time.

In the episode, I mentioned the National Eating Disorders Association's 24/7 hotline. After recording, I learned that the hotline actually shut down earlier this summer (sigh.) However, the National Alliance for Eating Disorders DOES have a free hotline, which runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday. +1 (866) 662-1235

    Sending love!

    How To Get Over Him

    How To Get Over Him

Constantly reading old texts and reminiscing on the "good" times? Obsessively checking his social media? Doing mental gymnastics and going through all sorts of hypothetical situations to make sense of what happened? Internalizing the dissolution of a situationship and criticizing your own appearance... This episode is for YOU. We're going to put those self-destructive behaviors to rest. This episode means so much to me because I am (unfortunately) all too familiar with the feeling of struggling to get over a bad guy!! It sucks, it affects your confidence, it makes you feel like crap, etc. And I really really don't think it needs to be this way. I've learned so much from my Internet big sisters, Tinx and Kelly Procida, and I am sharing what I've learned. Let's lean into loving ourselves a bit more. XOXO

    How to Have More Fun

    How to Have More Fun

Months after starting my first job, I realized that I was in dire need of more ~fun~ in my life. It's incredibly easy to get caught up in deadlines and deliverables and forget to carve out time for yourself. For me, prioritizing fun has meant both integrating small, low-lift tasks into my day that spark joy (journaling, for example) as well as going out of my way to try something new at least once a week (pottery painting, for example.) Still, it's not always easy! In this episode, I'm sharing what I do for fun, how I've established a pretty decent work/life balance, and how I'm planning to stay consistent and do more fun stuff in the rest of 2023!

    I Guess I'm Adulting Now?

    I Guess I'm Adulting Now?

Welcome to the first episode of Adulting! With Ashleigh G.

Since leaving graduate school and entering the workforce, I have found myself stepping into full-on adulthood...and often wondering if I'm even doing it right. (I'm probably not.) From getting back into hobbies to learning how to be a better friend, I'm finally taking time to truly focus on myself. I guess I'm adulting now? My friend, Stephanie Lai, joins me in this episode to chat about this new phase of our lives.
